The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the European Commission (DG Trade & Economic Security) and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), will organise, for the first time in Cyprus, the Market Access Day (MAD) 2026, which will take place on 16 April 2026, at the offices of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (170 Franklin Roosevelt Avenue, 3045 Limassol). The event is addressed to businesses that are active, or interested in becoming active, in international markets.

The Cyprus MAD 2026 aims to:

• inform Cypriot businesses about the EU’s current trade policy,
• promote the practical use of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs),
• present specific European Commission tools for removing trade barriers and strengthening exports, and
• facilitate the exchange of experience and best practices among businesses with successful international activity.

The event is addressed to:

• businesses with export activity,
• businesses that are considering or planning entry into markets outside Cyprus, and
• business executives seeking practical and targeted information on European Union trade tools and procedures.

The event will be conducted in English and is open to the public. Participation is free of charge. However, registration is required to arrange seating. Interested parties may register via the link provided in the attached detailed programme of the event.
