Extension of the Application Period for Participation with a National Pavilion in Technology, Innovation, and Shipping Exhibitions for the Year 2026
The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry (MECI), in response to the increased interest in participation from companies, announces that the application period for participation with a national pavilion in technology, innovation, and shipping exhibitions for the year 2026, is extended until 10 October 2025.
It is reminded that MECI announced on 5th of September 2025 the commencement of the submission of applications for participation with a national pavilion, through the “De Minimis Aid Scheme,” in the following exhibitions:
Extension of Eligibility for Participation
Furthermore, it is noted that the statistical code of economic activity “C 33.15 – Repair and maintenance of ships and boats,” based on the EU NACE Revision 2 classification system, has been added to the sectors of operation eligible under the aforementioned Aid Scheme. The inclusion of this statistical code for the repair and maintenance of ships and boat is expected to further enhance Cyprus’s representation in specialized international exhibitions, promote the country’s maritime expertise, and actively support enterprises operating in high value-added sectors.
Submission of Applications
The application form and the informative guide are available at the following link: “Call for Proposals for Participation in Service Exhibitions with a national Pavilion for the Year 2026.”
Applications may be submitted by hand, by registered mail, or by private courier until 10/10/2025. Applications submitted after 10/10/2025, will not be taken into consideration. It is clarified that priority will be given based on the order of submission of the application to the Trade Service of MECI.
