Strong Cypriot presence at Dublin Tech Summit 2026

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry (MECI) and the Cyprus Trade Centre of the Republic of Cyprus in London, in collaboration with Invest Cyprus (the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency), represented Cyprus with a dedicated information stand at Dublin Tech Summit 2026, which took place on 27 and 28 May 2026 at the RDS Dublin, Ireland.

Dublin Tech Summit is one of Europe’s leading technology and innovation events, bringing together approximately 8.000 participants from more than 70 countries, over 200 international speakers and around 160 exhibitors, representing the global technology and digital economy ecosystem.

The Cyprus information stand attracted significant interest from technology company executives, investors, entrepreneurs and industry professionals from across Europe and beyond. Visitors were informed about Cyprus’ strategic advantages, the country’s growing innovation ecosystem, as well as the opportunities available to businesses seeking to benefit from access to the European Single Market while maintaining strong links with international markets.

On the sidelines of the Summit, MECI, the Cyprus Trade Centre in London and Invest Cyprus, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Ireland, hosted a networking reception at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in Dublin. The event brought together representatives of Ireland’s technology and business community, international investors, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem, with the aim of strengthening business and investment ties between Cyprus and Ireland.

The event was opened by H.E. Mr Louis Telemachou, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Ireland. The keynote speaker was Ethan Pierse, a leading figure in the field of artificial intelligence, internationally recognised investor and entrepreneur, who presented the latest developments in artificial intelligence and digital transformation. He also highlighted the impact that countries with agile and business-friendly environments can have in fostering innovation and sustainable economic growth. The event provided an excellent opportunity for networking and the exchange of views among participants.

Cyprus’ participation in Dublin Tech Summit 2026, together with the organisation of the side event in Dublin, further enhanced the country’s visibility as an attractive destination for technology companies, start-ups, innovative businesses and high-value international investment.
