The Cyprus Trade Center in Beirut was established in 2006 and operates under the auspices of the Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry as the Economic and Commercial Department of the Embassy of Cyprus in Lebanon. The Trade Center covers the countries of Lebanon and Syria.
Main Activities of the Trade Center are:
- Promotion of Cypriot products and services in the countries covered by the Trade Center
- Promotion of Cyprus as an International Business and Investment Center
- Organization of business events, trade missions and participation in trade fairs of products and services in the countries covered by the Trade Center
- Organizing journalists' visits to Cyprus and facilitating the publication of articles
- Placing advertisements in specialized magazines and websites for Cypriot products and services
- Promotion of Cypriot companies to potential importers through the Export Helpdesk Service by providing information on foreign markets and promoting them to potential importers with the aim of the penetration of Cypriot companies in the countries covered by the Trade Center
- Providing information on various business matters, investment plans, setting up a business in Cyprus and on legislation relating to the business environment in Cyprus.
